I am a massive fan of Icelandic comedy, Jón Gnarr's humor, and I absolutely love the Næturvaktin / Dagvaktin / Fangavaktin trilogy. My dream now is to watch Fóstbræður.
I've been hunting for English subtitles everywhere. So far, I’ve only managed to find a few scattered sketches on YouTube and exactly one single episode (Season 1, Episode 3) with English subs.
I’m getting a bit desperate because it seems impossible to track down the rest of the show with English subs. I am currently learning Icelandic, but my listening is nowhere near good enough to understand the rapid-fire sketch humor without subs.
Does anyone know if English subtitles EVER existed for this show? Official or fan-subs.
Maybe on a DVD release (I only found Icelandic), or on some obscure corner of the internet? If anyone has the .srt files, an old DVD, or knows anything where and if the subbed versions exist, you would literally make my year.
