Wife and I are going for a two-tone room. Color on top and SW White Sesame below the chair molding. We were going to do a satin finish on the walls. My wife wants to paint the picture frame molding (currently just tape) and floor trim SW white sesame as well.

My question is: Should we do the walls in a satin finish and the chair molding + trim in semi gloss of the same white sesame color? Would that look weird? The rest of the door and floor trim in neighboring rooms are white semi gloss.

(Wall is currently primed due to a strong salmon as the last wall color)
