I’m looking for some advice on my Brighton save. I’m playing 4231 in possession, 4222 wide oop.

Back line is the same, 2 dm, 2 wingers, centre forward and splitting outlet forward

Standard pasaing, higher tempo, counter, wider width, pass into space.

The problem is on turn overs we can be torn to pieces on the counter. And trying to counter 3421 is impossible. I do have a possession based tactic that sort of works but I want some solidity at the back. I do need to improve my defence but any help with suring up my back line would be good.

Can anyone explain to me why Everton seem to play like Real Madrid when I play them. Their defence appears to be impregnable, their 3 attacking players behind the striker all dribble like prime Ronaldinho and Thierno Barry is better than Haaland. The ball goes up to him and he gets past about 4 defenders around him. It is ridiculous.
