Came to Canada at 20 as an international student from a developing country with nothing.
Worked part-time while studying full-time to cover tuition + living expenses. Did all kinds of jobs. Once tuition was paid off, I slowly started investing.
Fast forward to 24, now working as an Engineer and Wealthsimple says I’m in the top 0.5% for my age group! No idea how accurate that is, but still feels pretty crazy. Still in survival mode, figuring out PR options and what comes next. But honestly, I know I’ll be okay wherever life takes me. Been lurking here for a couple days and seeing everyone’s achievements is honestly inspiring.
