How can I connect my MacBook Pro and Lenovo Work Laptop to one Keyboard & Mouse?

Okay so my current setup is that I use a Tee Smart KVM Switch. Previously, I was able to use my work Lenovo ThinkPad and my personal Lenovo Yoga Pro together on one keyboard and mouse through this KVM Switch.

I could just hit the Alt key twice as a hot key to switch back and forth between both devices. I also had two monitors connected in the KVM Switch as well. However, I would manually switch the monitor displays between the two devices by just taking out either the USB-C or the HDMI connection.

Recently, I purchased an Apple MacBook Pro. All the other devices connected to my KVM switch, including the microphone, appear on my MacBook pro when I connect it to the KVM--except for the keyboard and mouse. For context the keyboard and mouse is a Logitech keyboard and mouse.

The MacBook Pro is simply not registering the keyboard at all. It did once when I did the initial setup to plug it into the KVM, but since then it does not pick up anymore. Now when I take the keyboard and mouse USB-A receiver out of the KVM hub and put it directly into the MacBook Pro via a USB-C adapter the keyboard and mouse work fine.

I'm just wondering if my options are:

- Software Solution: either to maybe look at a software solution to use both my work laptop and MacBook pro on one keyboard and mouse.

- New KVM Switch: Or do I potentially have to buy a new KVM that's more compatible with macOS?

- New Laptop & Mouse: buy a new mouse and keyboard that's a macOS version and plug that into my existing KVM and replace the Logitech Keyboard and Mouse?

If others have been able to successfully use their work Lenovo (or any PC for that matter) and their personal MacBook pro all on one keyboard and mouse and go back and forth between the two I'd love to hear how you did it.
