Board Game Night

Hello, y'all! I posted a few days ago about how cool it is being here at UBCO, and one thing I mentioned was wishing there were more social activities or events over the summer, as it didn't feel like there was much to do in terms of meeting people. I'm staying on campus in the Lower Cascades, and my roommates and I have been doing occasional game nights to kinda get to know each other and hang out- we're planning on doing a board game tonight, and we just wanted to kinda open it up in case anyone else out there is feeling like they haven't had enough opportunities to meet people and kinda hang out.

We're going to be playing a game called Betrayal at the House on the Hill, it's basically a board game where you play as a group of ghost hunters investigating a haunted mansion, it's a ton of fun. We're in Cascades building F, unit 102 (it's facing the street on the first floor, we'll probably have the door open to make it easier to find. We'll probably be starting around 7. Shoot me a message or comment if you're planning on showing up!

YOU GUYS! WE'RE HERE!

I just moved here from the States for the summer semester, and y'all- this is the coolest thing ever. This campus, the programs, the environment, the local food, everything. It's so easy to get normalized to an environment, to get bogged down by all the small picture bullshit. I hope you guys take a moment to appreciate though, this is the coolest thing ever. I feel so lucky to be here, and I hope some of you guys do too.

The one thing I'm bummed about is how little social/club type activity there seems to be over the summer, so I'm thinking about possible stuff to try to organize, just very unofficially and casually. Shoot me a message or comment if you would be interested in that.
