T818 lagging end of race
Hi guys,
I run a t818 with sf1000 and tlcm pedals. I have a decent PC 5060ti Quest 3 Virtual desktop through the quest I also have a asus rtbe92u router with designated channel for the wireless to quest 3.
However, I play with mates on multiplayer f125 and towards the end of a long session 25-30 laps, there was many lag from the t818 and graphics, making it unplayable. I then tried a full 63 laps of Imola (solo), was all going well until lap 52 and started lagging again to unplayable.
I turned off for 10mins
I lowered my PC from high performance to balanced and did another 22 laps which were fine and then 16 lap race and it was fine.
I just ordered a 3.1 belkin usb to try that out. I also have 3 computer fans that I wired up that sit just outside the units vents. But it still happened. I have seen a little online about thermal throttling but not many have put up much info about it.
Would appreciate any advice and will try the new usb on Friday afternoon in 2 days from now. I don't particularly want to lower the ffb too much as thats the reason I bought the unit, September 2025.
