Jon by Giopota(Magical Mysteries of Shazam 31)

Absolutely unhinged Issue 36 of Jon Kent: This Internship Is My Kryptonite with Magical Mysteries of Shazam

Ive felt absolutely nothing from the Runway to Ruin event but this is exactly the kind of unhinged stuff I was waiting for

Jon in the new Runway to Ruin event, drawn by Andrew Drilon and Moy R Marco

Choices were made with this so-called event, the writing of the Alpha was beyond intentionally cringe, but Jon wasn't part of the cringe here, which is nice.

Jon and Conner acting like Big Brother/Little Brother

From Issue 35 of TIIMK. I like this sort of dynamic better than Jon being jealous. Kon should be kind of a nuisance just for fun

Has Kingdom of Zod taken the wind out of Tomorrow Man's sail?

I think there's a lot of fear and uncertainty whether Tomorrow Man will stick around or not(I think somewhat mitigated by all the future covers and plot lines to come), but I do think throwing TM into an event where he's not the main focus, or even a big contributor, has been detrimental. I think Jon changing his identity should've been a way bigger deal to the family as a whole. Maybe even have an arc or two before the event where we see his new ethos. Dunno, it just feels rushed.

Superman Unlimited #17 Blue Suit Tomorrow Man

For a two brief, glorious panels, we got the electric version of Jon’s Tomorrow Man suit. Dunno how to feel about him referencing his dad, though. I thought we were kinda past that, but oh well.

DC webtoons on the Universe Infinite are now free

Jon Kent: This Internship Is My Kryptonite and Warriors and a Wee Wonder are free to read. Sadly, so is Nothing Butt Nightwing. At least I don't have to read them off some screenshot

October Solicitations: Superman: The Wedding Album 30th Anniversary Special

So we are getting Jon trying to wrangle a lot of super folk for the 30th anniversary of Lois and Clark getting married, with the help of a 5th dimensional imp. This is the kind of classic fun I want to see my boy in!(also they remembered Blue Beetle exists!!!)

Jon Kent: This Internship Is My Kryptonite Season 2

From a press release:

DC today announced a major 2026 content expansion for DC GO!, the publisher’s mobile-first webcomics imprint. Launching in October 2024, DC GO! has quickly become a destination for fast-paced, character-driven digital stories designed for vertical reading. DC GO! delivers original DC stories and reimagined classics in an easy-to-read scrolling format, with episodes crafted for quick, engaging reading sessions and fresh takes on iconic characters.

Jon Kent: This Internship Is My Kryptonite (Slice-of-Life/Superhero Comedy) follows Jon’s attempts to balance superheroics with a Daily Planet internship (June 2026) by writer Sam Camp and artist Seraji. The first episode of the new season is available now on DC UNIVERSE INFINITE.

I already read issue 1, and I like it way more than anything in season 1. My boy Duke is in it, the penny Plunderer appears for some reasons, and Gamorra is being acknowledged. Its actually not terrible
