Pulp Fiction: a rant

Whenever someone asks me what my favorite movie is, I either have to lie or brace myself for embarrassment when I say Pulp fiction. You know why this movie is my favorite? Not because I think it's some work of art, but because I like it, and that's it. The legacy of this movie has been ruined by pretentious losers and cinephiles taking their first baby steps. Even though I'm a "cinephile" I really only like this movie for its vibe. I LOVE the first 40 minutes to death, but the rest of it isnt as amazing. I just wish I could say Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie without getting funny looks or people assuming things about me.

look at this painting before and after reading the caption, does your opinion of it change?

Caption:
The showgirl of death. She's just an illusion; she wears a mask because you're too terrified of her face. Eventually your illusion will escape your control, and she'll show you her face whether you want to or not.

Im new to making audio dramas but it's from a script im very confident in: RAPTURE (full cast)

19-year-old Jack winds up in a hospital after a reckless night of drug use, he has to escape before he gets committed to a mental hospital. A combination of bad decisions and fate will lead him on an existential journey to die for.

Side note it started as a screenplay, but my friends aren't very avid readers, so they suggested I make it into an audio drama to be more digestible.
