Are there any upcoming EDM festivals? I would like to go to one. What are they like? Do I have to build a tent, or rent a hotel room? Would it be weird if I go alone?

I am considering going to a speed dating event (30M) but I am curious as to what they are like. Are they like I see on shows, where you get 5 minutes to speak to someone, and get to write what you think about them, and at the end tally up, or get paired with you matched? I remember seeing one happening in Chicago with there isnt a host, and its just prompted through phone notifications, which I find stupid, because I could just approach women in person, rather than pay $45 for some event.
