At the airport waiting to board our flight back to Chicago from Vegas. My husband and I were both wearing our EDC hoodies so this couple asked us if we had gone. Of course we said yes. They asked us where we stayed and we replied Virgin - Hotel EDC. When we asked them they said that they stayed at Pasquale’s house because their daughter is good friends with him. I tried asking them how their daughter met him and they got really weird about it and just said she has known him for several years.
I am really curious who this girl is. The couple said they are from Joliet, IL. My husband and I are in our mid-forties and they looked to be about the same maybe slightly older. I would love to know if anyone has any info.
Decent day time dance option? The girl I'm seeing doesn't want to go out dancing late, so looking for a decent day time option for dancing for this weekend. Haven't been to Le Nocturne, should this be good for an intro house show? (Smart bar is usually my go to).
Edit: I love this subreddit, thanks guys!
Idk about yall but like damn near $85 for presale is CRAZY
Im in the city and looking a little something. Hmu
Random thought, but I just realized that underground/"DIY"events have ticket prices that are about the same/more than the prices of full clubs ($20+). As a person who frequents these shows a lot, it seems like this is opposite to the goal of being more accessible spaces for people who are trying to get away from the over produced music scenes that've taken over. I'm fortunately able to afford the ticket prices at this point in my life, but I'm thinking of younger people who don't have as much flexible money especially with how the world is draining us of every little penny. I get there are costs associated with setting up spaces, but I'd assume that since these are being thrown in "non traditional" ways, a person should be getting access for much less. Were these types of events so pricey back in the 80s/90s or were they cheap experiences that most people could get into? What do other people think about this? (don't give out specific event details, keep the underground in the underground)
does anyone have a rough idea on his set time?
What can I get up to this weekend? Milwaukee, Peoria, Chicago?
Can anyone point me where I could buy some hardcore techno on vinyl. Tried the shops I frequent but I can’t find anything. Anything help
I’ve been wanting to go to a rave but not the ones where it’s all on ticket websites I’m talking about the ones where you go look under a random bridge and boom it’s just happening right under there. Can anyone help? I’m welcome to going with anyone and meeting new people if possible any raves that allow -18 inside.
I don’t wanna jinx it but if solomun gets rained out is the show gonna be canceled or still going on?
Hey y'all!! My friend and I will be in Chicago on may 26-28 (two nights) for a concert. We are looking for cool spots that are open and poppin, anyone know of anything that's happening on the 26th or 27th? 💜💜💜
Just wanna see if anyone wants to join me? Message me please
