Recommendation for a Dad Gamer

Just got laid off and planning to just take a break for the summer.

Played a lot of the base game for Diablo 4 (not the expansions), slightly played PoE 1 years ago, never played PoE 2.

I do have a ton of busy days being a single dad full time parent, but there are times where I do have more gaming time.

I’m in no rush to get to “end-game” content as fast as possible, I just want to enjoy the gaming time and can be patient.

Do yall think PoE 2 Early Access is worth it or should I wait until it’s free? Or would yall recommend the expansions for Diablo 4 (pretty pricey though)?

Or is there any PoE 2 discounts on Steam regularly ?

I know saving money after getting laid off is the smarter choice, but sometimes you just gotta enjoy life.
