Looking for like-minded female friends
As title shows. I’m 30F, single, and need to start cultivating friendships with those who are in the same stage of life as me. I have so many close friends whom I love and adore, but all of them are married and starting their families. I don’t have one other single female friend in Madison.
I’m active- I love cycling, running, hiking, pickleball, pretty much anything active and outside I’ll try (subtle flex I did Madison’s 70.3 IM last year). I love an overpriced latte, crisp glass of sauv b, and a charcuterie board. I work full time, I read a lot, I have a garden at a community garden plot, I love going to concerts and events, camping, day trips to devils lake, etc and have done most, if not all, of these things by myself. I always have a “the more the merrier” mindset and am pretty much always willing and able to hang out or go and do things.
This feels like yet another dating post lol, but I don’t know how to meet friends platonically in the wild!! I guess I don’t even know what type of people are on Reddit but trying anyway. I’ve never used “bumble bff” and honestly don’t know of anyone who has. If anything, I’m really just hoping to connect with other single females (or males!) out there who are looking for friends to go and do things with. My world feels super small and lonely and I’d really like to change that. Thanks for reading.
