How do you use the Rover Phone Numbers outside the app?

quick disclaimer: I understand we don’t give personal phone number to clients and sitters alike! I simply want clarification on the rover numbers and how they work.

I am going to be boarding for the first time later this week. My client seems to be having trouble with the Rover app for some reason and is not receiving my messages until a day late. I know that there is a Rover phone number that she can call me on. Does it work with regular phone and SMS? How do I ensure I am texting *her* Rover phone number from *my* Rover phone number instead of my *personal* one? can I send her texts and photos this way?

If anybody has personal experience on how this works, I’d love some Clarification. I’m getting a bit confused by the way the article on Rover’s FAQ page is explaining it.

How do I surprise my husband by turning this office into his dream game room?

please ignore the mess 😭

My husband has ALWAYS wanted a game room and I want to surprise him by making one here for him as a present for our first wedding anniversary (how I’d surprise him when he works from home half the week, idk yet, but I’ll figure that out later).

I want to keep the twin-bed here for now, as we don’t have anywhere else to put the bed at the moment. I do plan to transform the closet in the second pic into a storage library/display area, but I’m open to better suggestions if you have them. Otherwise, it’s a pretty blank canvas with lots of potential. Does anyone have any ideas what would look nice?

Some personal details that might help: my husband loves hockey, the colour purple, and Japanese themed anything (he loves anime). he also collects old video games as a hobby.

Thanks in advance for reading this and for sharing any ideas you have!

Cookbook recs for one-pot meals?

Context: I hate cooking side dishes. I don’t care how complex or time consuming a main dish is, I can’t time side dishes for the life of me. One thing always gets cold before the next is ready, and even then, when the main dish is done I just want to eat it right away lol.

My favourite dishes to make are one-pot/bowl of anything. soups, chillies, stir fries, etc. I don’t mind making pasta on the side because I always have rice noodles that cook within 3 minutes, that’s fine.

I want more variety!! Any suggestions?
