Took the 1 California down to the Italian American parade today. Bus was crowded and a couple between 25-35 year old were sitting in the handicapped seats. Lots of elderly Asian women and men got on the bus but they didnt move. Even got called out by a man on the back of the bus and sitting dude started arguing back saying you dont know what is going on with me. Now that could be true but hard to believe they both had something going on and even harder to believe when I saw them walking around North Beach all afternoon. Bunch of 40-60 year olds got up but these two entitled idiots sat on. Not sure if it was racism or just pure entitlement but those two should be ashamed of themselves.

It seems to me that cell phone numbers are becoming a de facto social security number. I have been dealing with multiple customer service agents over the base month. It’s almost impossible to get through to a customer service agent without entering your cell phone number and the automated systems say that they are pulling your account up based on the number you are calling on before they even ask what you are calling about. Mother had her cell phone ported to Verizon in a scam and I couldnt get through to ATT fraud or Verizon fraud without the cell phone that was ported. The more I read, the more I realize how vulnerable cell phones are to fraud - especially banking fraud.

Any suggestions on how to add more security to my cell phone?

If you have experience dealing with a parent with age-related dementia, do you have any practical advice that you wish you had known at the beginning of your journey? The person in question is still living on their own with little supervision but their memory and health are deteriorating fairly quickly. Any advice or resources are appreciated.
