My latest haul from sally (esybuypen)

Hello everyone. Received these 5 pens from Sally yesterday (Image 1).
These 5 pens cost me around ₹12,500 ($127) including shipping.
- Hongdian 1866 - $18.50
- Hongdian 517D - $15.50
- Hongdian A9 - $26
- Hongdian 1851 Golden Ice Flower - $18
- Majohn (Moonman) P140 - $45
- Shipping - $4
The rest of the pics are my small collection of Chinese pens and a few Kanwrite pens.
I got into fountain pens in Nov 2025. I always liked pens, but it all actually started with a Jinhao 35. Since then I've been slowly adding more whenever I could.
I also had a Kanwrite Emperor, Relik, PC and a maroon Jinhao 80, but I gave those away to my niece and a friend.
Out of all these, Asvine has been the biggest disappointment for me. Maybe I just got unlucky, but both the nibs I have feel too dry and have this weird feedback. My first expensive pen was an Asvine V200, and I barely use it because it skips. Maybe one day I'll try fixing the feed.
Other than that, Majohn and Hongdian are just amazing. Their nibs are crazy smooth and they are just a joy to write with.
My favorites so far are:
- Majohn V60 (If you use a triangular grip, trust me, this pen is made for you. You only understand after writing with it.)
- Majohn P140
- Jinhao 82 and Jinhao 88. For the price, these things are just unbelievable.
Kanwrites are okay-ish. The nibs are decent (still nowhere near as smooth as moonman or hongdian) for what they cost, but honestly the pens are not as beautiful as the Chinese ones.
Still don't own any Japanese or European pens except a Platinum Preppy, so maybe my opinion will change once I try those. (They offer little to zero increase in writing comfort in comparison to increase in price so no european or japanese pen for now).
What's your favorite Chinese fountain pen?
