MY personal rules, (which do not apply to my little brother and mostly applied to me by my mother) I'm 18 and he's 10 btw

• Can't bring the phone into the bathroom
• Can't lock the bathroom door when showering
• Can't close my room door, don't even think about a lock
• Phone has to be in mom's room at 7pm
• i had parental controls on my phone until 18 with a bedtime at 7:50 if i even got to use it until then
• Can't swear
• Can't talk back
• Always have to clean the kitchen at nights (she tells my brother to help now and then but she knows he doesn't and doesn't do anything about it)
• before I go out, she has the need to say no a couple times before letting me do something last minute so it's nearly impossible to make plans
• Lemme not even get started on her religious views

I might do another post on the crazy situation but it's a touchy subject and i don't want it to go into the void of nothingness to never actually be seen or heard

also i know these rules don't seem too bad but its really the extent to which she does it

what are your experiences?
