Hot Weather Jacket Recommendation
I have a 2020 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse that I got in March. I have been wearing Knox Orsa OR4 gloves that are amazing for summer weather where I live. (90+ degrees F 100% humidity) I wear normal pants because riding ones are too hot and I can't bring myself to wear shorts. I use a full face Icon Airform Manik'RR MIPS helmet which is great IMO and Street and Steel Kickstarter shoes.
For my jacket I've been wearing a kevlar lined flannel jacket ( https://milwaukeemotorcycleclothing.com/products/milwaukee-performance-mpm1642-mens-orange-and-black-armored-long-sleeve-hooded-flannel-shirt-with-kevlar ) with the hood removed, no shoulder or elbow pads, just with an icon D30 viper 2 back pad installed and it's fine into the low 80's with the armpit vents open but into 90-95 F driving on the highway with the sun beaming down on me and no shade trees like on back roads; it's hotter than Satan's taint.
I'm 6ft 260lbs muscular build and a bit of a beer gut, I'd love some recommendations for me to try out; particularly with back armor(or spot for it) is really my only requirement besides being able to handle the slide of course. Any other benefits are just extra.
In the little bit of research I've done I've come up with two options so far that seem okay to me. The REV'IT! Eclipse 2 Jacket and the REAX Alta 2 Mesh Jacket. If anyone has any experience with these or other recommendations I would greatly appreciate your opinions.
