A Weird Theory

So I have a weird theory as to why gtg is being so cagey about what the next expansion will be. If there is anything that I have learned about Christopher, it is that he he a stubborn bastard (said with love). So he probally had a plan for what he would do if he was unable to regain the rights to Sentinels. And if there is another thing that I have learned about Christopherz it is that is he a crafty bastard (still said with love), and he would know that while you can copyright ip, you cannot copyright mechanics.

I have a suspicion that Christopher and Adam might have been working on a new "game" this last year that used none of the Sentinels IP. But if there is a third thing that I have learned about Christopher, it is that he is a clever bastard (see above), and it would make sense to me that he designed these new decks to be close enough to unreleased Sentinels characters that he could pivot them back to the Sentinels IP if they got the rights back. I suspect that much, if not most (and maybe even the name of the expansion), features this new content.

I very well could be wrong. And I am not even sure that I am sold on the idea. But it is a feeling that I cannot shake. Either way, I expect we will hear more about the expansion once the Kickstarter for Defenders of the Realm ends.

Edit: This could even be part of the reason why they refuse to talk about what they did during that year.

The Soul of the Salubri in V6

As a long time fan of the Salubri, I was overjoyed to see that they were goibg to be included in the core book. However, in the playtest, I saw something that made me worry. Now, I understand that this is in alpha, and that the Salubri aren't even technically in it yet, but I see something that looks like the Salubri might have their soul stripped away.

At their base, each clan can be boiled down to a different tragedy (Ventrue: How much of yourself are you willing to lose for power, Brujah: how much pain and destruction are you willing to create to achive your ideals, etc.). The tragedy of the Salubri has always been that they are the healers, but are seen as the worst of the clans (unless you count the Bali).

This only works as long as they have the ability to heal others. And, importantly, that they have this ability and that other Kindred do not. If even the Ventrue have it this as a clan discipline, then why is it so mistrusted when the Salubri use it?

I do not see Obeah listed in their clan disciplines. Now maybe, they are thinking of folding in their effects into Fortitude like they did in v5. But maybe they think that with the mixing on Blood Points and Heath, that this ability would be too problematic. But I want to implore the creators of this game, this is essential to the Salubri. They need this ability, and they need to be the only ones that have it.

Morality of Knights Radiant

I am unfamiliar with the books but am going to be a player in A Stormlight game. When I first read the first ideal, I thought that the Knights Radiant was just a bunch of LG Paladins. However, I am reading some things that seem to contradict this. Could someone please explain to me just what how the first ideal actually relegates to the morality of the Knights Radiant? Specifically on the matter of "life before death." I am getting mixed messages as to how strict that is. For example, how would a Knights Radiant react to the trolley problem? Could they justify killing one to save many, and without angering their spren? I am sure this differs per order, and I will be playing a Lightweaver, but I would be interested in hearing how this idea relates to others as well.
