Zach Hill appreciation
Just wanted to drop in and give my two cents and say that Zach Hill has been making AMAZING FUCKING MUSIC! He’s been slept on way too much. If you guys have had your ears trained off of death grips and haven’t been listening to Face Tat, Astrological Straights, I.L.Y’s, or whatev then you are missing out…
I’ve been listening to his solo stuff for quite some time now nearly every single day and it needs a bit more attention. Even some No Age, bygones, or Holy Smokes might get some attention too I would think. He’s easily the most underrated drummer alive (imho the BEST drummer alive) been getting a little obsessed.
Idk, worth getting more into while we wait for the new death grips album, if it’s even real at this point but nobody really knows anything about that..
I just want some Zach fans to chime in and say some things about his work because I don’t know anybody else in my life who listens to anything even remotely close to this stuff.
Anywayyys y’all are awesome! Just want some opinions on his albums or maybe even some recommendations. Have a great noided day or something <3
