Socializing, but it’s hard
Sooo, attempting to socialize as a young woman who wants to make friends but doesn’t love drinking for fun is pretty difficult. Would love to know if anyone has recommendations for craft circles or anything of that nature where younger people get together and exist and socialize that doesn’t involve bass booming the whole time. I love all kinds of crafting but I feel like a lot of the circles I’ve been invited to in town have been primarily older women who would be helpful for learning but not as fulfilling for forming friendships. I also love nature, I have a silly little dog, and I’m not too sure where else to turn to find places I might have luck meeting people. I would even be down to try something different like a fun dance class or something. I just feel like it’s hard to find places to make friends in Sioux Falls because any class you sign up for is filled with pairs of people talking or couples and I’m just trying to branch out and not have my only socializing come from when we have cookouts with my boyfriends friends, none of which have girlfriends- lol of course. I just feel like there’s gotta be something out there in this city so give me some suggestions!
