Cost of ‘Stay out nanny’

We are here since end of February and still busy setting up the foundation for our lives here. It’s obvious that it can come with challenges that are way different than our home country, but this one is really new to me.

We have a young son that is going to international elementary school here in Angeles.
Something that we haven’g quite figured out is how to deal with his 3 hour school days.
Back in the Netherlands elementary school days are morning until 3pm and then your kid gets picked up by a afterschool care service until you’re finished working.

Here he is finished with school at 11:30 and there is no such thing as afterschool care. When are we supposed to run our business? We are setting up a business with a lunchroom combined with an office in local expat support services. That is going to take quite some of our time and focus to setup, which is near impossible with a 4 years old energetic piece of dynamite around you the whole day everyday..

We are considering a parttime nanny to give us a few extra hours a day to focus on the above. But we don’t want her to stay with us, just for a couple of hours a day after school.

Do any of you have experience with this and what it should cost? Would love to hear what you think
