Little holes in begonia leaf

I have a begonia maculata that's growing great but all the new leaves have these little holes in them that are there from the beginning. It almost looks like the leaf was damaged while still in the 'bud' before unfurling. Any idea what could cause this? Low humidity maybe? It's around 45-50% at 18-20 degrees.

There are no pests that I can see

Took a long time to get this one to make a shoot at all, but it seems now we're getting somewhere
