What happened to Shenzhen Qbuy? why is it not trusted anymore on Handheld Wiki?
To preface, I recently bought some R36S consoles to give as gifts. I usually buy them from Boyhom on AliExpress, but this time I decided to try Alibaba because there were more colour options available and the AliExpress prices were not as cheap as they used to be, even with coupons.
For the longest time, the R36S wiki listed Shenzhen Qbuy as a trusted vendor. However, I noticed that they are very recently now listed as selling fakes??(not clones?). I received my shipment a couple of days ago, and they came in plain white packaging instead of the packaging I was expecting. The devices themselves look fairly legitimate to me overall, but I am not experienced enough to say for sure.
Only real cause of concern is that the menu/main screen feels slow, and the inputs seem to have slight noticeable lag. I am not sure if that is normal, a firmware/software issue, or just cuz of the shitty sd card that comes with it.
Does anyone know what caused the sudden change in the vendor recommendation for Shenzhen Qbuy? And is the concern with the entire store, or just with a specific listings/batches?
Any info would help clear things up for me, thanks.
