I've heard a lot about a grey singer heavy duty which people either love or hate. At first I was considering buying it but I'm not considering it anymore because of the reviews. Now I'm not sure which sewing machines to consider.

I'm trying to use this sewing machine for small alterations and small projects. And I would really want a sewing machine that can sew through denim. I'm also looking for something that will last. (Not sure if this would work with my budget lol)

Please no computerised sewing machines.

I'm very confused on what to look for as I've used a sewing machine hundreds of times at school and home but I don't know how to find good quality sewing machines myself

I’ve seen a few people use dandelions for tiny baskets but I have no idea how to actually prepare the dandelions from straight out the ground to ready for basket weaving. If anyone could give an in detail step by step tutorial I’d reallyyy love it
