Legs back on track

Legs back on track

After a long time without a gym, dipping into endurance sports like half marathon running and cycling 300km/week (almost 200miles), I got back to the gym with two main goals: hit 80kgs (175lbs)in barbell overhead press and regain and grow beyond what I've lost. Finally my legs are starting to look better!

I'm working out 4-6 times a week, depending if I have time in my schedule (squash and gokarting takes time after work), upper/lower split with less sets than mainstream guidelines but all of them are done with a lot of effective reps (close to failure (RIR 0-2) or even beyond that - doing stretched partials in the end).

I think this photo was done after 1 set of conventional deadlift (5 reps RIR0-1), 1 set of rdls (8 reps with rir1-2) and 1 set of Bulgarian split squats (10 reps per leg with rir0-1, probably zero). That marked a middle of my workout :)
