Did SE 2 Masters of Motion Competition Came Too Soon?
Hi All,
just sharing my personal and unimportant opinion and I would love to hear what you all think
Specifically if you agree or disagree or have a different take all together on this.
My Unimportant Opinion: I think the "Masters Of Motion" Competition running from April 17 to June 19, 2026 came too early or at least we need a follow up competition later in SE2 development cycle.
My reasoning:
-I happen to be a mechanical engineer and love this kind of thing. however I am planning on designing all my complex mechanisms AFTER multi-grid projection and welding comes to survival in SE2.
-This decision is because I want to build all my mechanisms such that I can mass produce them in survival eventually and I know that I don't know what constraints I will need to account for so that they can be readily compatible with the form that multigrid projection takes in SE2.
-I image that I will put huge amounts of effort into making robust easily mass producible mechanisms and I would prefer to do that after I have more knowledge regarding HOW multigrid projection will work.
What do you all think?

Going ham on the mechanical goodness that is this game?
