All-in-One Race/Flight/Gaming Rig Planning
Sorry if this doesnt belong here, but ive seen people discussing rigs before.
So I am in the very very early planning stage of building an aluminum profile rig. I need to know if what I am trying to do is do-able. I want to have one rig that can do it all. From one seat, I want to be able to easily switch from sim racing, to flight sim, or to regular gaming. I have all the peripherals, a decent ultrawide, and a seat I can steal out of a car, so I am trying to design and plan a rig frame to hold it all. I was thinking the HOTAS for flight could be on arms that pivot in and out of position, for easy storage. Same with the mouse and keyboard. Every time I have tried to get into flying or racing, the constant set up and teardown of the gear with my desk made it too much work to enjoy. Thats what I want to fix with this rig. Am I going too far here?
