The Pokemon dream world WAS part of the experience

The Pokemon dream world WAS part of the experience

Okay, just a small rant because I keep seeing people arguing about how there was no older pokemon in BW.

Yes, it's true, but the pokemon Dream World as a thing. I'm sure lots of people who were young never played it back in time, and a lot of people never bothered with it because too. And let's be honest, it was not super good. "Hey, complete a mini game once a day, using your PC and your DS to get a Zubat, amazing!". Basically you used it to get hidden habilites, but otherwise it was better to just do trades, use the GTS, or use your 4G games.

But, I'm sure a lots of people also loved doing this and expending this, especially for those whose it was their first pokemon. Expending your experience and getting new pokemons through other means is also a thing 10yo me would have loved too.

It's a shame we lost it, but downplaying it like it never existed is still a big mistake lots of people do.

Duck Duck Go

Finished the game in Japanese, was really fun to redo

Really loved to do it again. Helped me to practice my Japanese. I still have a long way to do but it was a nice experience.

This time I wanted to only use shadow pokemons but yeah, ended up abusing the legendary ones lol. I was expecting the game to be harder, because their level were so low, but no they're really strong.

It's a shame the purification comes so late, it made the early game not that fun.

But espeon is so strong you kinda want to only use him. And shadow pokemons really suck so you kinda have no reason to use any of the early shadow pokemon aside from the Johto starter.

I will probably do another playthrough soon. I wonder what fun challenge I could do. I don't think I'll do a no item run because of the Realgam Tower. So if you have any idea to spice up the game without being 3 much.
