Archetypes as Bravely Default Jobs and what they do
Freelancer/Seeker-Magic Seeker: The jack of all trades and master of none, very versatile and useful.
Monk/Brawler-Martial Artist: Uses HP to power-up it's blows. Risky but powerful.
White Mage-Elemental Mage: Can cast elemental spells and has access to basic healing magic.
Black Mage-Warlock: Focus on dark magic that causes damage to the opponent.
Knight-Paladin: Focuses on defending itself and the party and has good attack power.
Thief-Ninja: Steals items from enemies.
Merchant-Tycoon: Use money to cast spells and can increase the drop rate of items
Fencer-Spell Fencer: Combines different fencing styles together and can use stabbing and slashing attacks. Spel Fencer can also use magic.
Time Mage-Time King: Screws with the turn icons and can cause the player's turn to arrive earlier.
Ranger-Wild Ranger: Depending on the monster, the Ranger's skillset does different things.
Summoner-Devil Summoner: Summons allies to the field.
Valkyrie-Valkyrie Queen: Attacks multiple opponents with physical attacks at once.
Red Mage-Balance Mage: Can use both white and dark magic, however it does not specialize in either one, but to make it up for this, this Archetype has good pshyical stats, allowing it to fight in close quarters if it's MP gets low.
Salve-Maker-Alchemist: Maximizes and mixes the effect of items together.
Performer-Reveler: Acts as a buffer to the party that can also attack.
Pirate-Captain: Enhanced close combat related skills.
Warrior-Samurai: Posseses great attack power with it's sword skills.
Arcanist-Occult Arcanist: Specializes in dark magic, and depending on the opponent's current debuff, it's magic does different things.
Spiritmaster-Soul Saver: Posseses great elemental resistances and can bestow said resistances on it's allies.
Templar-Crusader: Balanced offense and defense.
Black Knight-Dark Knight: Sacrifices HP to power up it's sword skills.
Vampire-Vampire King: Can steal the enemies' buffs, as well as inflict debuffs.
Conjurer-Illusionist: A brother to the Summoner. It can summon spirits that give blessings (Buffs) to the party, and said spirits can take damage in the Conjurer's stead when the latter's health is bellow 10 percent.
Wizard-Grand Wizard: Has a huge variety of non-elemental spells.
Charioteer-Weapon Meister: Can equip different weapons.
Bishop-Pope: Heals allies and sets up defenses for future use.
Astrologian-Star Reader: Can control when a spell's effect happens.
Catmancer-Chimera: Can train cats to wield the abilities of defeated foes.
Hawkeye-Chief: Deals physical damage to multiple enemies and can use elemental spells.
Patissier-Glacier: Buffs allies while debuffing enemies. It posseses a huge variety of buffs and debuffs and can even prolong their effects.
Exorcist-Devil Survivor: Can completely remove the opponents' buffs and can even negate attacks and spells when leveled up to a certain point.
Guardian-Protector: Gains more power the more damage it takes.
Kaiser-Demon Kaiser: An all rounder that is essentially a mix between the Seeker and the commander.
Yokai-Enma: Another brother to the Summoner. They lack variety compared to the Summoner and the Conjurer, but the demons this Archetype summons have more power.
Vanguard-Forward: A brother to the Knight. It can sacrifice defense for more power.
Bard-Diva: A brother to the Performer. It has a greater focus on party wide buffs, with more variety than it's brother.
Beastmaster-Beast King: Can tame enemies and make them fight for them.
Gambler-Lucky One: A magic-focused Archetype whose magics have random effects on the field.
Berserker-Destroyer: Can bolster it's attack power to crush enemies. It can't learn magic-related skills tho, only buffs and debuffs.
Shield Master-Force Shielder: A tank-based Archetype. They absorb damage meant to other party members with it's skills.
Pictomancer-Masterpiece Maker: Can change the opponents' weaknesses to make them more vulnerable to the current party composition.
Dragoon-Dragon Rider: Can dodge attacks and perform piercing damage while attacking themselves.
Oracle-Esper: Can predict the opponent's next move and use psychic-based spells.
Bastion-Castle Keeper: Protects it's allies while sending damage back to the opponent.
Phantom-Guardian Spirit: An agile Archetype that can hijack enemy turns, by that i mean it performs it's actions during the opponent's turn.
Hellblade-Demonic Blade: Excels in both physical attacks and black magic.
Brave Bearer (The equivalent of the prince): Manipulates the cost for skills, decreasing the cost for allies while increasing them for the opponents.
