Some of y’all underestimate/ over exaggerated the stuff involving Cartunes

I’ve been seeing too many posts saying how he’s been doing all of these delays every week & there’s been little to no promo about Cartunez but that’s not true.

7/10 was the only date that Ken announced & missed the release.

7/17 was when we got news that it got sent in yet not sent in to dsps yet (Ken never said it was dropping that day, it was just cope)

7/21 we get news that Cartunez would drop NEXTWEEK not that Friday (meaning Ken never said it was going you drop on that Friday)

7/31 is the 2nd date Ken announced for Cartunez.

With the promo section,

He’s played tons of snippets in multiple social medias, had various underground artists wear cartunez jackets, gave out 2 cover arts, even just started to post Cartunez related posts on Twitter

I’ve been seeing people say “he’s been too quiet” when it’s gotten real close to a announced release 1) I’ve seen multiple posts like this for the past albums (excluding Xperiment) & 2) An Ep isn’t going to have the same amount of promo as a album.

I get that people got disappointed over the fact that Cartunez originally didn’t drop on the release date it was supposed to (7/10) which is completely valid but the other stuff people are getting mad about has been overblown.

Hopefully it drops tonight

I’m tired of the whole “it’s OPIUM, you should expect it at this point” excuse

Yes, I’m aware of their history of missing their releases on albums but the main point is that people use this excuse to almost put this at the listener than the actual artist themselves.

they get on other people that thought it was going to drop while also waiting for the project to release

I will say being genuinely angry is crazy especially if you’ve been here for a while (still isn’t a excuse) but it’s normal to be disappointed about it

Don’t say a specific date if you’re not 100% sure you’re going to drop it by then

I could even use Ye for example, he had 2 decades of album pushbacks yet people still get disappointed because that’s the normal response to that.
