The baby voice was hated in the moment (hence why he changed his sound for the official release of WLR) I’ve posted tweets in here about people complaining about the voice in 2019/20 but nowadays it’s seen as his best and most unique era. Hell, the biggest rapper in the underground right now is 1:1 copying the sound currently

We already know about WLR. There’s literally a term “WLR effect” about albums being more understood as time goes on. The album was insanely hated on when it dropped and now it’s one of the most influential albums of the decade.

Now we have the deep voice era. The consensus is that carti isn’t trying anymore and is a knock off Future and that his previous eras are better. But artists like Che (whose most recent album is heavily influenced by WLR) have recent EPs with the deep voice that have received a lot of praise.

So do yall think this era will be seen in a more positive light as time goes on (like his other eras) or do yall think it’s different this time. If you believe it’s different why do you think so? Personally I believe this is his worst era but am open to letting it grow on me

I feel like the production and sound of Xperiment is what MUSIC could’ve been and also would be perfect, if carti decided to go full industrial instead of jumping back to ATL trap/ Lil Wayne Aesthetic and sound.

I seen many people on twitter and tiktok complaining abt carti’s verse on “wedidit“ saying it’s garbage and he’s just chatting, even though the song was made in 2025, But when “Withdrawals” leaked people praised it. both of these songs are 2025 songs wtf do ppl be talking abt??

ngl 90% of the music era leaks are complete ass, but with the baby boi leaks it feels like he’s finding the spark again and actually trying to rap. withdrawls, pop them drugs, and some more give me hope that baby boi will be way better than what music turned out to be. it’s not as experimental but the songs are a million times more enjoyable (imo). i’m just happy cause i was worried my goat is washed

I’m not gonna sit and act like 2022 Carti woulda bodied it 10x harder his evil flows were disgusting back then
