For context, I (22m) have been apart of this cult since I was a child. This nightmare was not the first conflict I have had however. I was taken away by them from my mom & only saw her again as she died, my friend who I loved like a sister was kicked out of said cult, and when I recently asked for a higher rank I was promptly denied. Recently I had a nightmare of my wife (27f) dying. I was distraught and unsure what to do. But then my friend (65m) offered to help.

He actually turned out to be a war criminal and when I mentioned this to my superior he tried killing him without putting him on trial! So I rashly killed my superior. My friend then suggested we commit Genocide on the entire cult, and I may or may not have agreed. AITJ?
