Does anyone know about EMacs? I have one that seems to have a list of issues
Hello! So I was given an old Emac that doesn’t seem to boot. In the pictures attached I show the cord that used to lead to the power button I’m pretty sure? I lent the computer to a museum for a couple months and when I got it back the button I soldered to it isn’t attached anymore..
Anyways when it was attached I’d press it and all that’d happen was that the fan would spin and CRT screen would crackle a bit. I’ve also replaced the pram battery. It didn’t come with any ram so I just found some that fit (the ram I’m holding next to the slot in the picture). still nothing..
I’m gonna re solder a new button on again but I’m unsure what else to do?
I’m gonna try and get my hands on some ram that is in a working emac that I know of. Otherwise any help would be great (:
Oh ps. Down the final image attached it down by the speaker it looks like that brown wire connector is unattached? What would that be if anyone knows..
