6 months of eating my way through Pune. What am I still missing?

Since January 2026, I’ve been slowly trying to explore as much of Pune’s food scene as I can, and I’ve ended up visiting 36 places so far.

Started with the obvious Pune classics like Vaishali, Wadeshwar, Cafe Goodluck, Marzorin, Kayani Bakery’s general category of old-school spots, Durvankur, Garden Vada Pav, etc., and then somehow the list kept growing.

I’ve also done a bunch of the more casual/fast-food stuff: Taco Bell, McDonald’s, KFC, Pizza Hut, Domino’s, Subway, Rameshwaram Cafe, Naturals, Meridian, Belgian Waffles, and even places like Good Flipping Burger, Guac 7 and High Spirits.

And then there’s the Koregaon Park side with French Window Patisserie, plus a bunch of smaller local places that I probably wouldn’t have found without randomly looking for food one day.

Honestly, this has become a bit of a personal Pune food bucket list at this point 😂

I still have a wishlist with places like Veranda, Vahuman Cafe, SoBe It, Momoka, Kayani Bakery, Bedekar and Sukanta Thali

But I feel like I’m definitely missing a LOT.

So Pune Reddit, what am I sleeping on?
Give me your genuinely good recommendations. Old-school places, underrated local spots, great cafés, breakfast, misal, thali, street food, desserts, whatever. I’m especially looking for places that are actually worth visiting and not just Instagram-famous.
