10 minute doodle - Gewehr 43 DFE

Yeah, my hands shook too much doing this one, and as soon as I messed up the eyes, I pretty much gave up on the entire uniform underneath it.

I hate carpel tunnel. I wouldn't wish this even on my greatest enemy.

I have an internal list of stuff to draw gun wise, but if there is any recommendations, leave a comment!

Rule #7 - The Final Compromise

AAAAANNNNNNNDDDDDD.... the results are in !

410 votes (I don't count myself). 112 to 298 votes. Censor scoreboards or do not censor them.

---

As a recap, all scoreboard posts are from Friday (13:00 UTC) to Sunday (13:00 UTC). This means any type of posts that show a players stats in game, from scoreboards themselves to player profiles of their faction progress.

  1. Scoreboards can not be taken and uploaded from an outside source (like a phone, tablet).
  • No one wants to see a blurry picture or have to squint their eyes to see your post.
  • Please use WIN+SHIFT+S or another form of Print Screen key bind if you are on PC.
  • Please use your dedicated screenshot dashboard option(s) if you are a console user.
  1. You have the freedom of choice to censor your own or other user's names in scoreboards.
  • If you choose to do so, mask the names in black so it's easier on the eyes (not enforced).
  • You forfeit the right to complain to me if the community bashes you for censoring posts.
  • Any complaints to me in mod-mail about your performance in the scoreboard is ignored.

This is an acceptable scoreboard post.

This is an acceptable scoreboard post.

This is not an acceptable scoreboard post.

This is not an acceptable scoreboard post.

This is not an acceptable scoreboard post.

TLDR: You get the best of both worlds but you forfeit the right to complain to staff if the community is complaining about your own performance in your own scoreboard.

Enlisted Showcase - Turner Light Carbine M1941

For BR I... it's good... ish. Damage is as best as it could be to be in BR I. I couldn't even imagine how dogwater this gun would have been if they hadn't updated the magazine capacity for 5 to 10.

Is this on par with the KBP-135, a Russian semi auto BR I gun? Ehhhhhhhhh not too sure. I can't even think if japan or germany have a BR I semi. Do they? I forgor.

Dysphorid Presents: Browning .303

I got around to giving one of my sketch pieces more effort. Now let me hip fire the damn thing.

30 minute sketch - STG 45 M

I call this the headpopper since the sights make it so easy to, ya know... pop heads?

Now that I got your attention, which gun should I draw next?

Arisaka Type 38 Rifle (30) - 8/10

I'm so confused about why the aiming down sights point if viewed is so far behind the gun still. It turned a 10/10 weapon into an 8/10 experience.

It's annoying to aim with this. Does anyone else agree, or is it my skill issue talking?

15 minute doodle - MG 42 (100)

It's getting a little too rusty in here. Alt title: Bloke destroys yet another console lobby.

Wasn't really proud of how this one turned out but I guess it's passable for the vibes.

Don't you dare scroll over to the second image. This is your first and only warning..!

15 minute doodle - Browning .303

I wanted to do something different with this one and have it in a dynamic pose.

I uh... kinda forgot how many swiss cheese holes were on the barrel of this gun.

UHHHHHH......... and it sort of made me realize that doing this all in pen is wack.

Oh well, as soon as I wrote 1919A4 I went "no wtf are you doing???" fun times.

By the way, message u/Holylandtrooper to get access to the Enlisted Reddit group chat!

I'm sharing these artworks as I make them in there since I do follow the 1 post 6 hour rule.

30 minute doodle - Type Hei Family

u/ScottyFoxes - you called? one thing led to another and I just did the whole family tree lmao.

I ran out of room on the automatic and had to obrez it a bit to make it fit the page. SMH me.

  • And as always, I am doing this out of memory so I could be wrong on a few things here!

10 minute doodle - Mosin Obrez

Getting footage using this weapon is making me insane to the point where this copium drawing will become it's thumbnail on the Enlisted Archive YouTube account.

10 minute doodle - TKB 336

I do all my doodles in pen and from memory... might have messed up a bit, but oh well, the vibes were there.

The Choice Is In Your Vote

Rule #7: Scoreboard Content

This rule is in place to stop spam and only allow scoreboard content at proper times from Friday 13:00 UTC to Sunday 13:00 UTC.

I have people telling me that if this should continue, all scoreboards should not be censored at all. On the other hand, the reverse is also mentioned by if scoreboard were posted, those should have player names censored.

So, let's just leave it as a community vote since this topic is larger than I had thought. It will last for one week.

If censoring all posts ends up winning, if it is your choice not to censor your own player name, then it is fine with the rule if it updates to that option.

The color of the censoring should be solid black that overlays over the original image. Any other color could work, but black would be better on the eyes.

If not censoring posts ends up winning, it's a raw upload of the exact screen of the scoreboard either using WIN+SHIFT+S, Print Screen, or your dedicated console image sharing button or service.

Images via a phone camera will be removed due to poor quality.

Rule #7: Scoreboard Content (Updated)

Rule #7 has been updated last week with a new clause that boils down to not being able to edit the image in any way. If the user wishes to show such a post, it can not be altered at all.

Now, let's go over some examples on what would be removed going forward on scoreboards.

It's even worse if you are on PC. Please use \"WIN+SHIFT+S\" to get a perfect screenshot, or PRINT SCREEN.

This is a sort of scuffed attempt at how console users show scoreboards. Sony and Microsoft has image sharing modes.

This is sort of better but, alas, the sheen is also here and it makes the user squint a bit. It's almost perfection.

This is the type of scoreboard images that should be shown, one without any modifications added.

This is a perfect scoreboard but was altered by third party tools and would be removed because of it.

I hope there is no confusion going forward for what this rule means for weekend posting.

I'm conflicted on this weapon. On one hand it is great and then it's mediocre due to its horizontal recoil patterns. It's probably my skill issue but even with the horizontal perk reduction, it appears that it doesn't do anything to what my eyes see on the screen.

It being BR IV is also a bottleneck since the game isn't really too popular to make BR IV viable and purposefully up-tiering this to BR V only makes me scratch my head as the RD 44 exists there. Sure, the Maxim also exists but nothing can beat the insanity the RD 44 gives to the user.

Ammo capacity is alright for BR IV if it was contained in its own vacuum. At least it gives Russia a similar style weapon to face against the MG 42 and the other BR IV versions of it.

The sights... feel weird because I keep thinking it's Akulinin's TKB-336 at times, but the 336's sights are much better. It's probably due to not having it be as bottom blocking and more in terms of its movement speed to the Western Allies B.A.R. family.

I wouldn't find a use for it in BR V but if it was always contained into its BR IV... then it's Russia's best in slot for BR IV. It gets a 7/10 only because of this, otherwise it's a 6/10.

Type 38 Carbine/Rifle (30 Round Extension) / Russel Turner 1941

Edit: Assuming Battle Ratings === 2 / 1

u/Dysphorid — 16 days ago

The sights here are sort of good for long distance but up and close it's a nightmare.

u/Dysphorid — 17 days ago

Well... it's like saying both of your steaks are too juicy or the lobster is too buttery. Either way, I'm tear that shiiiiiiiit up with the new G43.
