Per Wumpus Central, Discord is experimenting with adding AI agent that allows you easily create bot and activities inside Discord without VPS.
NOTE: This article is based on a very early stage of project development. Concepts, names, and mechanics may change in the future!
Discord works on a new project named internally "Vibegrations", a term blending vibe coding with integrations.
Recent datamining reveals that the platform is building an AI-powered app creation manager directly inside the client.
This tool aims to lower the barrier to entry for bot and activity development, allowing users with zero programming experience to construct custom interactive experiences using simple natural language prompts.
At its core, the Vibegrations system operates as an integrated development environment embedded within Discord itself. Users can describe the application or bot they want to build inside an AI agentic chat interface.
The underlying assistant, referred to in the codebase as the Orchestrator, processes these prompts, formulates a proposed build plan, and generates the necessary code.
Discord tracks resource consumption during these generation cycles using a metric/currency called runes, which measures computational/tokens usage across prompt turns.
What makes Vibegrations particularly notable is its cloud infrastructure and seamless workflow. Datamined strings point to Cloudflare R2 workspaces, automated database provisioning, and background npm dependency installations.
Rather than forcing developers to host bots on external Virtual Private Servers (VPS) or manage API keys manually, Discord handles bundling workers, deploying preview artifacts, and running automated health checks within its own edge ecosystem.
Developers will be provided with a dedicated preview server environment where they can test builds locally before releasing them to public servers
Discord disabled TikTok integration [17.07.2026]
Discord has quietly disabled its TikTok profile integration. Users are currently unable to add new connections.
It appears that the integration has been experiencing an API issue for almost exactly a month on Discord’s or TikTok’s end. It's being reported that users were receiving error code 10001 when attempting to connect
As of now, Discord has not officially addressed the removal or the underlying technical issues on its blog or help forums.
Per Wumpus Central, Discord is experimenting with adding VC Whiteboards and Gaming Leaderboards as server boosting perks.
