It was back in 2009-10, I discovered the band NORTH EAST BREEZE. They represented assam in the reality show IDEA ROCKS INDIA. That time there was more Orkut & less Facebook as social media. So, they were basically underrated. Their first album was DHWANI (ধ্বনি) meaning sound. The next album was REFLECTIONS. The band is no longer together. Some of prominent members were singers Rupam Bhuyan, Tridip Basumatary, guitarists Priyanku Bordoloi, Anupam Nath, keyboard by Anowar Hussain etc. They created folk fusion. Some of the songs like JAG MEIN, SODASHIBO, LACHIT BORPHUKAN are underrated gems till today. In Spotify, their songs are available under the Album name GROOVE. Sharing the profile and letting the younger lot discover these hidden gems. Share your opinions.
