How Does Your Company Handle IT Disposition & Recycling?

As a company in this space we work with many different types of businesses, each usually has their own perspective on compliance and overall contribution to recycling responsibly.

Our impression is that a lot of companies are a step removed from the major recycling initiatives and frameworks like R2 & E-Stewards and sometimes even to understanding NIST data sanitation compliance. I suppose our side of the business is built on knowing it for the companies we work for.

However how much thought goes into the IT end of life protocols and is there a stimulus to document environmental impact via ESG reports? Typical our service costs organizations money and sometimes it can get expensive. For mega corporations it makes all the sense. But how does a medium sized company evaluate how much they are willing to invest to do it right?

Regarding E-Waste Squad, we handle electronics recycling logistics nationally primarily for businesses that have many offices. This allows centralized management and reporting, especially for certificates of destruction. You can visit us at https://ewastesquad.com.

Thanks for reading and hoping to get some interesting commentary. Also happy to address any questions anyone has.
