Dead pixel new MSI monitor (under warranty ?)

Bought this MSI monitor for a replacement because my other monitor had a chip issue. Only couple months old and I still have the receipt, is this normal/ expected for a monitor (I’m not sure the age of the display but it was new never used before) ? Or should I ask for a refund/ replacement.
