325 drift car?
Hey there everyone! About a year ago, I bought an E36 M3, and developed a passion for drifting, the only issue is that I love that car to death, and it’s my daily. To compromise, I found an extremely reputable e36/46 specialist who is selling an e46 325i drift car! I was considering getting a nicer car or e36, but I realized I need to get something I don’t care about. The car has a welded diff, cheap coils, 60 degrees of angle, and already wall tapped! How perfect! Not to mention the car is mechanically sound, new cooling system ect. and comes with a full set of drift spares. My only issue is the power limitations. The current owner says he can connect every track in our area, however there is an EXTREME skill gap. Do you guys recommend these for beginner drifting? My goal is to learn with no hydro as to build good habits with weight transfer however, if needed, I can throw one in. Should I invest the extra cash for a 330? The car is 3000 so I’m happy about that because god forbid something happens, it won’t be devastating. This will be a track car, and a LEGAL (occasional) street drifting car. Just 190hp doesn’t sound like it would toss very well, especially at the altitude I’m at. Thank you all for your input! Sorry if I am being oblivious, I am new to this.
