Do the Omnia and/or Roma pass allow you to book tickets early, or does it trigger the 72-hour period?
Hi. Some friends and I are visiting Italy from September 6 -18. I can't find much info on how it works to book tickets for attractions using the Omnia or Roma pass. Specifically, I'd prefer to buy tickets well in advance, but I'm not sure if doing so means the 72-hour-window opens upon when you first book a ticket. Does anybody know the answer?
Also, if booking directly at sites such as the Vatican is the only option for using the card (i.e., unable to book in advance without trigger the 72-hour window), I'm assuming tickets can be purchased day of? Or do they sell out?
Just trying to decide if it's worth getting one of these passes.
