"Etsy" purchased something from me...but not on Etsy

I sell on Amazon handmade as well as Etsy and yesterday I had a sale come through for 3 sets of mini bags. When I looked at the label it was going to "Etsy" with someone's name underneath. I googled the address and it looks like it's going to headquarters.

I have these listed on my Etsy store and it's the same price as Amazon. Why would Etsy purchase from me but not use their own site to do it?

40,000 sales and 13 years!

Just thinking that we have done 40,000 sales is insane for me. I started 13 years ago just trying to make grocery money (with 3 kids 3 and under) now our little business supports a family of 6 (and has for almost 9 years now). As much complaining as I do over Etsy and how it's changed over the years I am still extremely grateful for the ability to work from our home.

If your just starting out just remember it is possible!
