Umbrella studdering every few minutes

Umbrella studdering every few minutes

Hey all,

I have had kodi/umbrella on my thinkpad x1 for over a year now and it has ran awesome. All of the sudden, every couple minutes it will start studdering for about 3 seconds then go back to normal. I tried clearing all cache and also re-authroizing with premiumize. No luck. So I just completely nuked kodi and installed from scratch and within 30 seconds of the first show, it started studdering.

The file im currently trying to watch os 1080p, 1.4gb and im on a fiber line that is currently showing 800mb/s so there is no way this file is struggling on the network end.

Any ideas what can suddenly be going on? I grabbed the log after I just received nstalled everything. I closed down kodi right after a studder so I should be able to see something on the log but I dont know what I am looking for. Heres the log:

Any help would be appreciated!

Cloning Ventoy USB?

Quick question. I have been compiling and using a 1tb usb thumb drive for a few years using ventoy as the base. As you would expect, I have all my OSs installed and all the persistence files set up along with medicat, portableapps, etc. Im looking to upgrade to a 4tb ssd that Im going to put in a scharge hub. I was going to chop it up into a few different partitions since I am working between Mac, Windows and Linux.

Question is, is it posible to make a 1tb partition on the new SSD and just clone my current ventoy usb drive so I dont have to go through the entire process from scratch?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Hardware Realization

I have a ton of hardware that is running Kodi. All the firesticks, All the Nvidia shields, multiple Pis, etc. the one piece of hardware that runs the absolute best that absolutely never has problems is my old Galaxy 20 phone. Considering you can get these phones refurbished for well under $200 (seen them for as cheap as $100), I dont know why you would use any other hardware outside of a full on UMPC rig yet whenever anyone asks for hardware recs, no one ever mentions old phones.

Just a realization I had...
