It seems more often then not, whenever I try to play a video in Otaku, I get the error message BAD LINK. It's happening with old and new shows, I even make sure to select files from good sources like Nyaa that have more then 1 seeder. I've tried the setup wizard multiple times, clear the cache and rebuilt the database. Nothing seems to work, and with FenLiteAM now gone I have no addon for anime that works reliably. Anyone else having this issue? Were you able to resolve it? Would a fresh install of Otaku maybe help? I'd like to avoid a fresh install if possible, because I'd rather avoid the hassle of redoing all my settings and relinking all my accounts, but if that's the only solution I will do it. Any help is appreciated!

EDIT: Turns out this was a Real Debrid issue and not an Otaku issue. Thank you to everyone for helping point me in the right direction!

Having a strange issue and wondering if anyone can help (possibly the devs of these apps?)

I have POV, THE GEARS and RED LIGHT installed on my Nvidia Shield Pro.

When I load up my trakt collection I get totally different amounts of items that appear.

POV gives me my full collection of 2065 items.

THE GEARS only gives me the first 100 items and there is no way to view anymore. No next page or anything.

RED LIGHT gives me 999 and again there is no way to view any more, no next page etc.

What is going here? How can three different addons give me three different things?

POV is the only one of these where I can see the full list.

I've looked in the settings, erased cache and reauthorised trakt on both THE GEARS and RED LIGHT but no change?

Can someone advise or check if they have this problem?

As a further note I have the same problem with the apps Cinetrak and Moviebase. The former only gives me 100 items and the latter my full collection.

I'm a Trakt VIP so it's not a list limit issue.

I'm using PM and searched for the new movie Normal. Only a cam comes up with POV; and 4k plus 1080p with Umbrella. I'm assuming Umbrella is using Cocoscrapers and POV uses Magneto. But not sure why POV's results are not as effective?

POV  Wont play 4K (also gives No Result)

I was wondering anyone can be of assistance. My POV refuses to play 4K it will normally only play the only the show or movie with lowest GB at times it wont even. However when I go to Umbrella and play the same show on 4K it plays it with no problem. Also my POV will give me No Result for some  shows but when I go to Umbrella I will find and play the same show with no issue. Can anyone please advise what the issue could be if you know and how I can resolve it. This has been going on for a while I am using POV but wasn't sure how to raise a post on Reddit just in case it is an issue with sources or something or Kodi. I hope the log file has picked this up. Can you please help me? Thank you in advance.

Is there anyway to make it so 4K files will always display before 1080? I've currently got the priority all set to 10 like I did with FenlightAM, and Quality, Size, provider enabled in POV settings, when results are displayed, it's all jumbled up, 4k then 1080 then 4k again.

Clicking an episode initially shows high #'s then goes to zero "No results", earlier today same links were working fine ? I have cleared cache in Kodi twice.

Works fine w/ POV so it's a RL issue .

I updated recently from an older version of Umbrella to the latest. I was using a version that was over a year old because it was working well up until the recent issues with Trakt/tmdb, etc. The update resolved that for me.

The new issue I’m experiencing is when I try to advance forward or go backward during a show, it takes me back to where I am. In other words I cannot go forward or backward. I’m am using Easynews as a source, nothing else. This is happening with everything that I try to watch. Am I the only one with this problem?

I’m in kodi 21.1 with umbrella 6.7.75

Was needing to reinstall Kodi and add ons the other day.. I did the normal install for Twilight, but when I get to install from repository - kodi + real debrid - the next page there is no option on the bottom for "video add ons"

I tried deleting and reinstalling several times. But the last option at the bottom is just sub titles. Any idea of what's going on or how to fix?

So I’m looking to move my favourites folder inside FLAM to another add on without having to build it manually from scratch in the new add on. This isn’t a Trakt or IMBD list, it’s just the internal favourites folder within FLAM

Is there a way to do this automatically? I can’t seem to find the .xml file inside FLAM to do this correctly

My wife and I have been watching The Boys. It was first in trending. It's now disappeared from trending, from our favorites, from next episode and even from search results. It's like the show never existed.

Hello, I’m trying to download and install Fentastic from Ivar’s repo, but for some reason I can only find Nimbus and Altus.

Does anyone know why Fentastic was removed? I know it’s no longer being updated, but it still works perfectly fine :/

Several saved shows now have zero seasons and return nothing when searched. First time I’ve noticed it. Is this happening to anyone else? Or know how to resolve?

I dont understand why RD won't authenticate with anything. I am trying umbrella now,and I get an error after I punch in the pin code on RD. I check the log and dont see any glaring issue.

I've deleted and redownloaded everything.

Also, after I input rd code the kodi screen freezes on the auth code screen in umbrella.

Hey guys, new to TB trying to figure it out, im sure these are stupid questions but here they go:

Question 1

Im on firestick kodi umbrella+RD+TB

First when i would autoplay a tvshow it would go thru the sources and give infringe error from RD and not play anything, so then i went to source select and when i select a torbox link i got an error umbrella cloud transfer error

So then i upgraded my free plan to free pro plan

And now when i autoplay i see it going thru the sources at normal speed when it goes thru RD sources but when it hits TB sources it speeds up and just kind of skips them

And gives me a no sources error, but when i go to source select and click on a TB link i get a dialogue box saving to cloud it sits there for a few minutes and then it says the download has started and just sits there an nothing plays

Hi all was using fen light am on nvidia shield and since it stopped working I’ve tried pov and umbrella with cocoscrapers and viper scrapers but it either won’t find streams or won’t find any playable ones

Any tips? TIA

I've been using Seren for years until an hour ago the new update prompt appeared and I obliged and updated. Now I get a Seren error when I try to select sources. Checked settings, providers and RD.. no luck. :(

I don't remember what it's called but it's the default style fen light had.

I'm also not a huge fan of umbrella. Best alternative that's closest to fen light?

This what I decided to try out after the ongoing purge in real debrid. Never cancelled Real debrid (if I lose €8 so what) signed up for a month of torbox (essential plan) then got a daft deal (found the link somewhere on reddit but can't remember where) for 15 months of Easy news.

Using POV - easy to set up on all 3 services. Still getting links for RD, more links for TB but slower to load, huge amount of links for EN but not all working.

Using Umbrella - not as easy to set up TB haven't tried EN as not sure I need to yet Still getting links for RD, loads more links in TB but again slower to load and play.

If I carry on subbing for all 3 services it will cost me €8 approx a month for virtually unlimited access to all the shows/movies I need. If any of the services fail what money have I really lost for 15 months, 1 good night out in town maybe.

Stop panicking everyone the rivers are there and you just need a bit of patience and searching, and you can find what you need.

Jamal repo suddenly stopt working.
I updated it to https://ce-repo.github.io/repository.jamal2362/ but also unable to connect. Does anyone know the correct link?

Edit: can install the repo via the zip bit the repo is unable to connect. Error log: 2026-05-18 22:53:15.623 T:7470 error <general>: Repository add-on repository.jamal2362 does not have any directory matching 21.3.0 and won't be able to update/serve addons! Please fix the addon.xml definition
