I see in a past post Trakt seems to be falling out of favor with the community, or at least that is what it sounds like? I have multiple Kodi setups with multiple addons and have had no issues with Trakt but if it's only a mater of time I want to get ahead of it. It appears MDBList is an option people like. When I go to MDBList I get the option to sign in with Trakt. Should I do this or should I create a new acount all together if trying to get away from Trakt? Is the Trakt issue a real thing or is it just a The Sky Is Falling and something not to worry about. TIA for any input.

Hey, sorry for asking dumb questions but I've been trying for some time now, I've got Kodi working on a rooted webos to get rid of my libreelec setup and absolutely love how fluid it works in comparison, and how well it works with the LGTV remote, but the homebrew store hosts Kodi v22 and I've been having trouble finding a single skin that would allow for widget use on the home screen, if anyone knows about any skins that would work, please kindly share.

I know Kodi 22 is still very new, and it had major changes to how skins work, if none exist yet at least I'll know I don't suck at searching things.

I've been using (and loving) POV for a while now and noticed a few weeks ago the shows I had marked as dropped started showing up again on my Next Episodes list.

I've recently changed from the Trakt to MDBlist and idk if there's some functionality I'm missing that's making them show up again. I've gone through all settings and can't seem to find anything amiss 😕

I rmr with Trakt there used to be some of these "glitches" every now and then but they'd end up hidden again after a day or two so I never really worried about it but it's been a few weeks and everything is still the same.

Could anyone help me figure out if there's anything I'm missing please?

I recently started using Gears Scrapper and have been wondering why it doesn't have all the sources enabled by default? Surely the more places you check, the better results you get?

no sources playable? everything was working fine last night. "no results" even tho i see so many results. is it cuz im at a hotel? it worked fine before

I have a insignia fire tv. I got the kodi going with "the crew" installed, but I can't watch anything..

I go to new movies, I'll select a movie, (for instance minions & monster 2026), I select it, it says loading scrapers, it goes through like it's finding formats, (480,720,1080,), and when it should start playing, it'll pop up, no streams available) and go back to the menu of movies.

I've used and watch before on kodi....

What am I missing?

Where am I going wrong?

What am I not doing or doing right?

My little ones are going crazy to watch that movie.

HELP!!!

So, for about 5 to 6 years I've been using Kodi consistently almost daily and I've always had real debrid up until a few months ago when they started blocking certain links with flagged words. So, I switched to TorBox as the main debrid service. I also have Premiumize me and Alldebrid set up as backups, because why not?? Well, for the first time I have received a copyright warning from spectrum. I'm not sure how they were able to know. I've got the crew, POV, Red light, and homelander all at so set up to only show debrid sourced links as well as cached links only. Is there something else I've been over looking I'm not aware of perhaps?? Some setting or whatever?? Anyone with more knowledge on what to check to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve tried like 4 different versions along with my API credentials and every time the video will play for about 15 seconds and then just freezes with a loud buzzing sound?

I’ve tried 7.4.4, 7.3.0 + beta 6, 7.3.0, and 7.3.0 beta

Anyone know of a version or who hosts a version that actually works?

I've been using Kodi for quite a few years now and have been happy with Real Debrid.

I decided to give Easynews a try, so I've set up an Easynews account and an NZBGeek account.
Both are working and the workflow through NZBGet allows me to search and download TV shows I want to watch.

I've put the correct login for Easynews into the Direct Sources pane of Red Light prefs.
I've put in the right logins for NZBGeek into the Indexers section (and tested the connection - which returns "connected successfully").

To test Easynews alone, without all the results from Real Debrid, I've gone to the Torrents tab and disabled Real Debrid.

I also disabled external scrapers.

I've searched for the TV show and episode I successfully downloaded through NZBGet, but it says No Results Found.

What am I missing?

I just wanted to thank the dev of tmdb movies for making this great add on . it’s the best when you want a non debrid link. also the he has included access to trakt lists as well which I haven’t noticed in the big 3(rl/pov/umbrella). You can even torrent without vpn cuz it goes through torrserve - which is very easy to set up.

edit edit - sorry for the wrong info regarding the p2p portion. Apparently you still need vpn for safety.

WatchNixtoons2 v0.14.23 – Playback failing / embed.wcostream.com timeout

Hey, I’m having a playback issue with WatchNixtoons2 v0.14.23 and wanted to see if this is a known issue or if there’s something else I should try. The add-on itself works normally when browsing. I can open shows, seasons, and episode lists, but when I select an episode I get: “WatchNixtoons2 error”

“Playback failed. One or more items failed to play.” The Kodi log shows the failure happening while resolving the episode: requests.exceptions.ConnectTimeout HTTPSConnectionPool(host='embed.wcostream.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded Connection to embed.wcostream.com timed out. (connect timeout=10) It then says: Playlist Player: skipping unplayable item Things I have already tried:

Updated/installed WatchNixtoons2 v0.14.23 Tried all three source domains:

wcostream.tv wcoflix.tv wcoforever.net

Confirmed those main sites load in a web browser Tried multiple shows/episodes Tried the “Use HTTP stream instead of HTTPS” option Restarted Kodi The error still points to embed.wcostream.com timing out on port 443

The HTTP option also didn’t change the error — Kodi still attempts to connect to embed.wcostream.com over HTTPS before the playback fails. Is embed.wcostream.com currently having an issue, or has WCO changed the embed/player domain or resolving method? I can provide more of the Kodi log if needed. Thanks!

edit: So update, WNT2 on my hotspot works fine but on my Wi-Fi it does not and the wcostream server also works on phone data but gives error 403 on my phone when on Wi-Fi. 

What is the fix if wcostream is possibly temporarily blocking my ip due to multiple previous failed attempts? 

UPDATE: 5.3.2 fixed the streaming issue and switching my Meta API to Anilist made Monster show up. Thank you all :)

I’m on Kodi 22 on an X96 max running android, and I had auto updates for Otaku on. Everything was working fine. Then it updated today.

I logged on today to watch Monster (2004) and it wasn’t able to scrape. When I clicked on an episode it wouldn’t show any providers and just freeze. I use real-debrid but I’ve enabled it and disabled it and it doesn’t change anything.

So then I decided to try to reinstall the add on, and when I reinstalled it, I could no longer find Monster anywhere, not with search, not with top 100 (which is how I initially found it cause I had the search bug at the time), it’s just gone!

Afterwards I decided to try and watch something else, two other animes I tried had the same scraping freeze error.

The app doesn’t quit, no error is produced, it just freezes forcing me to restart kodi.

The good news is, I installed Otaku testing and scraping seems to work there, but Monster is still not showing up.

I spent about an hour and a half trying to debug it but I fear the problems are outside my reach.

Anybody else have any similar issues? Or should I be migrating to Prism? I tried installing it but I’m unfamiliar with how to setup the provides, and the app seemed to run a bit slower than Otaku.

PS goldenfreddy if you’re reading this thank you for all the effort you put in, I’m not trying to harp on you, I use your add-on more than any other and I just want it to work!

Hell Mode season 2 and Jobless reincarnation season 3 are my latest examples. But this feels like it's been an issue that's only getting worse for over a year. POV has no issue scrapping episodes for the correct season when I try it there. I have limited my search to fall 2026 and it still fails to find any relevent torrents only embeds. Now All I get are a tone of results for Jack of Trades, Party of none and it shows up in almost every show. Am I missing some obvious setting that fixes this?

Edit A lot of my suggestions have been about trying different Meta APIs. I have three instances of Otaku up all using different API's now and I am scraping results for Episode 4 season 2 of Hell mode as my test. The results are identical between all three. So I tried experimenting with each provider. Nyaa Seems to be the source of all things Jack of all trades. Anime Tosho is completely useless as it gives me results like Kill Blue, GTO, lupin the 3rd movies Jobless reincarnation season 1. Girls Und Panzer. It's as if it's not even trying to find the result and just throwing the same set of random shows. Torrentio all checked gives no torrent results. Neko BT. is the most promising in that it gives me the correct show but it's all season 1 instead of season 2.

Changing META source had zero result changes but does break the Airing Last Season, Airing This Season and Airing Next Season menu items. Anilist is the only Meta provide that these seem to function with.

My next hypothesis is that the issue is with Otaku's Scraping of Torbox. I have wanted to avoid going back to real debrid and Torbox has been wonderful for everything except the odd show on Otaku. This particular season it seems exacerbated.

Is their a app or option or anything where I can simply find everything marvel related in 1 section on fire stick

A few months back, I had to create my own API keys. Then RD had the purge. I was still running on skeleton sources, but the kids were happy enough.

Beginning of this month, trending anything is empty, browsing on popular only. I can live with it.

Last few weeks, Trakt hasn’t been working at all. I’ve tried re authorising but just get an error. Cleared caches, deleted all apps on their joke of a website, can’t authorise it at all.

Is it me or has the dream ended?

I don't know why I am having so many problems with Umbrella lately. I really want it to work for me. I updated to the latest version and it wouldn't find any sources but 1 from real debrid. I have torbox as well and it's not finding any sources from there. I reauthorized them both.

I thought maybe just updating the addon was the issue, so I deleted my previous version, all settings and spent time reauthorizing simkl and mbdlist plus the debrid services. Same problem. Only one link from RD, but nothing from torbox. Checked my other addons, no problem. I tried many different shows with many that have lots of links available, whether they are good links is another story.

Is anyone else experiencing this same problem? It doesn't go to the log, so there is nothing to provide there. I feel like I am the only one having this issue. I know the new version was going to help with auto play but I haven't been able to get that to work since only one link shows up and it's real debrid so we all know that is right now.

I was about to move everything over to mdblist and noticed 2 instead of 1. Which will work for me so I'll continue to use it for now, but instead backup to mdblist and smkl.

Hi - I've moved over from the now dead Fenlight/RealDB/Trakt option that served me well for years - largely with few issues.

I've set up using Redlight/Torbox/simkl more recently. I'm not sure if this is an isolated experience but my response times within the addon have been super slow for the last couple of days. Lists take a long time to generate and I can leave a search function running for around five minutes until it eventually returns results. Previously this would take seconds or less.

I'm not sure from a troubleshooting perspective about where this problem would originate (I have tried to figure it out). If it's in the interface/Tor or another part of the machine that I am missing.

I'm UK based and the device is an Nvidia shield if that helps? I'm running the most recent versions of each of these things after a fresh install yesterday to see if that was the issue.

I tried using the custom AIOStreams setting. The instance I was using was from Ultramax (https://aio.ultramax.vip). put in the proper credentials and tested. zero results.

Now I know the instance and credentials are valid, cos I also used them on POV and RedLight with same content as a test. Worked wonderfully in those addons. Any help would be appreciated.
