Had a stockx discount code, not sure I will hit on any raffles so pulled the trigger, big time FOMO as I missed out on last years brick by brick so wanted to make sure I got mine, do you guys think prices will still go down?

Gut punch yesterday, met this guy buying my jordan 8 Bugs Bunny, seemed nice enough, but got paid with fake 100 bills, realized they were fake just as he got into his car, tried to stop him but didn't risk getting run over for a pair of shoes, got his plate number, brought the bills to my local police station, was told this was a civil case since fb marketplace is a buyers beware market, which I find stupid as I know possession of counterfeit bills is a crime, just feel let down by this. Though I do plan to call the Canadian anti fraud hotline tomorrow
