Recently completed yet another C&P exam and days later received a notification from Optum stating they are performing a medical opinion that I do not need to attend. I just now received yet another claim denial a week after that medical opinion. Can the VA overrule my private doc medical opinion? The denial letter states “The VA medical opinion found no link between your diagnosed medical condition and military service” while also confirming the “evidence shows that a qualifying event, injury, or disease had its onset during your service. The records show you were seen for a spinal injury.” Of course they also say “you have been diagnosed with a disability.” I am very confused so any answers are helpful, thanks!
