Where to go next (new player)
Hello. I just started getting into this game. I'm trying not to go too crazy with spending right off of the bat until I play a little bit in person.
For context, I have tried out the app that teaches you how to play and the game seems kind of fun. I also have some experience with magic: the gathering.
I currently ordered two copies of the Hathaway starter deck, because, the Xi looks awesome and it was not super expensive. I've been hearing its not very good and I'm not sure if I should play it at locals? I know I could also pick up some copies XI-Gundam flight form to upgrade it.
From the what I've been hearing on local discords, the starter deck events are ending and it will be hard to get starters at a fair price again. Should I just stick with the ST-08's for now?
I'm seeing that I might need some ST-01 cards down the line, because, they are staples. I'm not sure if I should get those as singles or shell out for the starter deck.
