My car recently started making a hissing sound while idling and a more aggressive turbo-like sound while driving. In addition, the glow plug light begins flashing when I accelerate harder, and the vehicle goes into limp mode shortly afterward. I was wondering if these issues could be related, and if so, what the possible causes and fixes might be. I would also like to know whether this is something that could realistically be diagnosed and repaired myself.
