Amp/dacs for Arya Stealth?

I just stacked discounts and bought the Arya Stealth for $400 on AliExpress (yay).

Now I’m thinking about a good amp/sac to pair with it. Currently I own a questyle m15, caldigit ts4 from audio jack and an m3 MacBook Pro.

I don’t want to spend too much. I saw some people claiming they bought the Fiio K13 r2r for as low as $200 on AliExpress, but I also saw people claiming that it isn’t a good source to pair with the Stealth.

Anyone knows a good pairing? Or are my current units fine?

He600?

What are your thoughts about them? Are they worth it at $633 usd?

I currently own HD660s2 (favorite hp), Meze 99 classics v2, and Focal Hadenys. Currently testing my friend’s Edition XS and I like them a fair bit, but it isn’t good enough or different enough from my current hp’s to actually buy them. I’m looking for something a bit more analytical to complement my collection, and I think getting planars is long overdue.

My current sound sources are a Questyle M15, M3 MacBook Pro Audi jack, and Caldigit TS4 audio jack.

I don’t know how good are they, but I have a pretty good promo on AliExpress that expires tomorrow. I can either:

• get the HE600 (blind buy, complicated return policy from AliExpress)

• get a Fiio K13 R2R and wait for another discount on AliExpress for the HE600. I heard people saying getting a proper sound source and R2R is incredible for those headphones anyway.

• I’m also considering the Aune AR5000 mk2 but I can’t find enough reviews about it online.

What are your thoughts? I have 1 día to make up my mind.

Are Dac/Amps still necessary in 2026?

I’ve been using the Focal Hadenys, HD660s2, and Meze 99 Classics v2 for a while, they complement each other pretty well. HD660s2 is the laid back one with great tonality incredible mids. The Hadenys is for extra clarity and a veil-less experience. And the Meze are for closed back goodness (I sent the 105 Silva back for them, they’re that good). I like my mids.

I usually pair them with either the front audio jack in my caldigit ts4, a questyle m15, and an M3 MacBook Pro. All give practically the same result. If I had to rank them it would be MBP > M15 > TS4, with a ~5% improvement between each other, and I’m being generous in that approximation.

Lately I’ve been eyeing the Fiio K13 R2R. People claim those “open” the headphones and the R2R gives a similar experience to tubes, which I heard pairs well with Sennheisers. But, at $300 I’m not sure if it is even worth it over the K11 r2r, which is half the price.

So I started asking myself. All 3 of my current audio outputs are barely any better than one another. Will something like the k13 really make a noticeable difference? Will it even be worth it considering the K11 exists and many people claim they sound the same? Is an amp/dac even worth it?

Are Dac/amps even taking the priority over headphones in 2026?

Murph selling advise

I’ve had my Murph for a year and a half and I haven’t worn it that much so I decided to sell it.

I bought it brand new at $20,000 mxn and I got an offer for $14,500 (so around 25% less than what I bought it for).

Is this a good deal? Should I push for more? The watch is like new and barely any micro scratches. It has the metal bracelet.
